The previous volumes of this magnificent Handbook have been reviewed in this Archives. This section reaches the high standard set previously. Its authors are experts in their fields and they summarize adequately current knowledge and concepts particularly useful for research psychologists and psychiatrists. For each of the twenty-three chapters, a specialized reviewer should be required. All that can be said in general is complimentary with a strong recommendation for its study and use as a reference for anyone interested in the nervous system and its functions.
