Most of the explanations in the book provide a good overview for anyone working with children. It is easy to read, well presented, and does not require a great deal of previous reading or experience in the study of vision to understand the material as it is outlined. It provides a functional approach to the study and development of vision in infants and young children. The only reservations one could have is to republish a total book without any attempt to revise or update the original work.
