Currently, more than 90% of articles submitted to the Archives receive their first decision (revise or reject) within 28 days, and the delay between acceptance and publication in print is 5 to 6 months. With the introduction of Online First, the publication delay after acceptance will drop to just a few weeks for our best articles. We anticipate that the Archives will move to electronic-first publishing for all articles in the not-too-distant future.
