AB It is hoped that disciplines other than social work will read Helen L. Beck's Social Services to the Mentally Retarded, an excellent comprehensive overall view of the field. This book should have really been titled: "Handbook for Anybody Working in the Field of Retardation." Especially chapter 4, "Social Implications" should be required reading for anyone in the field!Helen L.
