N2  - These have ranged in length from one day to eight weeks, and have been attended by many dozens of physicians and medical students.Between August 1967, and August 1968, Lester S. King, MD, and Charles G. Roland, MD, the AMA staff members responsible for the sessions, wrote a series of communications for The Journal of the American Medical Association. These works were derived from the experience gained conducting seminars; a total of 25 articles appeared, under titles such as "Monotony," "Jargon," "Verbs," and "Why Not 'I' and 'We'?"Now the entire group of essays, with some additional material in an appendix, is available as a paperbound book, Scientific Writing.
