There is actually no clinical volume dealing with the Rorschach with children since Halpern's volume in 1953.The author sets the stage for the use of the Rorschach as a clinical instrument by describing the scoring categories and summarizing the developmental stages to be expected; and by briefly describing the concept of projection. This section of the book is quite lucid and appropriate.Other sections of the book present detailed clinical analyses of Rorschach records depicting varying types of diagnostic problems. The clinical analyses are sensitive and complete. My only criticism of these sections is that they do not always give an integrated summary of what to expect in general from the group of children so studied. There is a failure to pull together the findings into a comprehensive SN - 0003-990X M3 - doi: 10.1001/archpsyc.1969.01740190124028 UR - http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/archpsyc.1969.01740190124028 ER -
