The approach to this challenging technical problem is described in detail."In contrast to the above the author acknowledges that, "Cookbooks are never new or exciting. But cookbooks are often necessary. . . ." His impression is that the book is to be a "survey" and "guide."This book suffers because substance has been sacrificed for brevity. The chapters of the book seem to be mere introductions to the topics contained.
