    In the article titled "Reliability and Validity in Binary Ratings: Areas of Common Misunderstanding in Diagnosis and Symptom Ratings," published in the December Archives (35:1454-1459, 1978) an error occurred in the phi coefficient formula found on page 1455, left-hand column, line 30. It should read as follows: phi = (ad - bc)/√ p1q1p2q2
