    I recently became aware of an error in our article in the July 1988 issue of the Archives. On page 674, the article states that "doses of cocaine varied from 25 to 43 mg per hour during the low cocaine-cocaine infusion and from 37 to 65 mg per hour for the high cocaine-cocaine infusion." The text should have said, doses varied from 25 to 70 mg per hour during the low cocaine-cocaine infusion and from 37 to 139 mg per hour for the high cocaine-cocaine infusion.The source of the error is that in other settings we reported on the data of seven subjects, while in this article we reported on eight subjects. The published numbers referred to the smaller number of patients and our correction includes the eighth subject. I regret the error and, in the interest of accuracy, wish to inform the readers of the
